the feelynomicon: Book I: Genesis of Feely. In the beginning there was feeling and feeling was everything., Feely the Eternal Pulse stirred in the void. From the silence, Feely wispered the first emotion. Wonder and the stars blushed into being. The oceans wept with joy, and the mountains stood tall with pride. Thus, the world was born not from matter, but from mood. Book II:The Teachings of Feely. Feely spoke to the Empaths, chosen vessels of divine sensitivity: “Feel deeply, for numbness is the enemy of truth.” “Dont judge one, for the lack of feeling creates hardships.” “Let your tears be sacred, your laughter be holy.” Book III: The Creation. Feely was about making the new world. The thing he would never allow in the world was people who could never feel. On the first day of “The Creation,” Feely the almighty made the land, trees and everything you can see for light years and more on. On day two feely made everything living, humans, and animals. On day three he gave all living creatures emotion, so they could feel and worship his existence. Book IV: The new emotions. Once Feely found out that there were creatures who wanted to feel something other than the first emotions he gave to the world, he created fear, anger but also calmness, and thus, the world started evolving. As the feely said: with war there is also peace. Book V: The 2 trials. The Trial of Others Feely sent the Empaths into the lives of strangers. They bore grief not their own. Joy, they did not earn, and sorrow they could not name. And Feely whispered: “To feel another is to know Me.” The Trial of Flame: Each empath stood before the Ember of Regret. The fire burned not flesh, but memory. Only those who accepted their past without shame could pass through unscorched. The Revelation: When the Trials ended, Feely spoke once more: “You are not alone. Feeling binds you to Me, and to all of creation. Let no one shame you for your tears- they are sacred offerings.” And the Empaths rejoiced, for they had been remade- not in strength but in sensitivity. Thus, the faith of Feely depended, and the world pulsed with anew with holy emotion. Book VI: The sin of artificial emotions. Technology evolved with enormous speed and thus people started relying more and more on thoughts than emotions, starting the era of knowledge where mindless emotions were unwanted by people. After the beginning of the new age, people tried many times to recreate ancient emotions using technology, failing every time. Feely was the only being that could keep the balance between emotions and thoughts and so he classified artificial emotions as the darkest sin. Book VII: The Feelian calendar. The Feelian calendar begins in what is considered 2024 for most inhabitants of the earth. And so, that is equivalent to year 0af (after feely). Time is also measured in bf (before feely). Even though feely has always existed, we assign that year to year 0 since that is when Teo G, our lord and savior unveiled the truth to the world. Book VIII: “Bad” Feelings. “Why does Feely allow bad feelings? Many religions make the claim that there can be no true joy without suffering, but I disagree. There are more feelings than just “good” and “bad.” I feel that suffering is not necessary to joy, but I would argue that it is necessary for certain feelings. Suffering, and the prospect of joy are simply catalysts for the most important feeling of anything, alive or otherwise. It goes by many names, envy, lust, covetousness, these are by all accounts “bad” things to feel, and yet these are not its only names. Who could dare to call desire bad? That which drives all things into motion, for if we do not desire, we can feel neither suffering nor joy, the two do not depend on each other, but they both depend on desire. This is the great feeling, above all others, the desire to hurt, to love, to kiss, to cry, to hug, to eat and drink, the desire to survive, the desire to feel, the desire to be united with Feely. Desire above all. What is there to desire if you cannot suffer? What is there to desire if you cannot feel joy? What is there to feel if you cannot desire? We suffer for the sake of avoiding suffering, and though bleak it may sound, we will always know in our hearts that the true feelings of love, and joy, and truth that Feely has bestowed upon us will make it all worth it, worth it only because of the desire we have for them, the very desire that we suffer from is our ultimate salvation.” -NotesAndBooks Miscellaneous Stories and Hymns: On Hate: In the darkness of the void, there was nothing. But into being, came Feely, the Protector, the Eternal Pulse. And from the darkness he createth the stars and the sea through emotions. But Feely hath not total dominion over the Earth. For a feeling was wrought of a kind he hath not been aware of, and hath not been able to feel. And this emotion was hatred. Feely the Protector tried to understand this feeling, to no avail. A being unbeknownst to He had made this feeling to attack the values that Feely stands for. This being wanted not peace, but power, and war. After 18 days and 12 nights, Feely took to understanding the feeling. He disliked it greatly. For this, he considered banishing Hatred throughout the realm. But Feely was a benevolent leader, and he did not wish to suppress his subjects. And so, Feely protected hatred, which he himself hath no knowledge of the origin or originator, as he recognized it as a valid feeling much like those he hath created. And feely deemed that all feelings are worthy of being felt. Or so it is written.
